...an incredible example, sold by us 22 years ago, has driven MAYBE 2,000 miles....excellent damage and rust free chassis, excellent body with ORIGINAL paint (I purchased this car from the original owners...and they confirmed original paint), 1,000 miles on rebuilt twin cam engine, Webers, original air box, close ratio trans, new clutch, good top and tonneau, runs and drives like new.
Like going back in time. In 1986 we purchased this car from its original owners, an older couple in Trumbull, Connecticut. With 39,000 original miles and ORIGINAL PAINT.
Now, 22 years later, STILL WITH original paint, TWO owner car. Amazing, isn't it? Talk about a 'time machine.'
But a great sports car. Really....the best.

What I love about this car is ALL original seats, carpets, dash, plastic trim (all quite good), excellent original wiring, sounds great, drives great, runs great.
Add paint and have a truly remarkable classic sports car offering more enjoyment at reasonably legal speeds than any other car ever built (except maybe an original Mini Cooper S but they don't offer 'top down' motoring).
If I didn't already own a lovely Elan S2...................I would keep this car in a second. There really is no better sports car.SOLD
