1967 Lincoln Continental, 462, 44,350 original miles. New paint, rebuilt brakes, new shocks, new exhaust, refinished chrome. Was originally a dark blue car with vinyl top, repainted black without vinyl top. Interior is all original except for dash pad and tops of rear seats, but rest is in remarkably good shape considering the age.
The vehicle sat for so long that oil had sludged up so bad in the valley I removed the motor and had vatted and all new gaskets and replaced all bearings standard. The original bearings didn't have any copper showing and didn't need to be changed but I had bought an entire rebuild kit and replaced anyways.
I have a 1967 parts car that had every option on it, so I removed the A/c from the parts car and installed on this one. I added new compressor and had evaporator core and condenser pressure checked before installing. I haven't charged the system yet with freon because I just have started driving the car after having it for now 6 years. The original hood ornament had a broken corner so I added this "flying Lady" ornament from I believe a 53 Nash, but no extra holes were drilled to mount it.
All power windows work, power seat works, original clock works, new sending unit and gas gage works, wipers work. Runs out really good and so far only some minor things that need to be done to completely say it's done. I wouldn't be afraid to drive the vehicle anywhere. I have the original wheels, the wheels that are on the car are chevrolet truck rallies with a custom made center cap. I added a "secret Audio and 10" sub radio, but haven't added but a couple of interior front speakers.
All in all a really good car. Any questions or if you need anymore pictures please let me know, and will be willing to let the 1967 parts car go if the price is right.SOLD
