Available for sale is a 1967 Continental in excellent condition. This car has been well maintained throughout the years, and has remained very original. This Continental has spent its life in Southern California and was originally ordered by the Los Angeles District Dealer (Code 52). It has had only 3 owners with the last 2 only obtaining it in the mid 90s.
The body of the car is exceptionally straight, solid, with no evidence of serious accidents anywhere. The car shows one older repaint that is still very presentable with only minor wearing due to use. One thing worth noting is that the car is painted Pitcairn Blue metallic (paint code K) which is a stunning dark blue shade that adorned only 3% of the 2,276 convertibles produced in 1967.
The luxuriously appointed interior has been refreshed with premium hide leather in original blue color. The 6 point front seat power movement works flawlessly, as well as all windows, power antenna, and dash instrument components. The continental convertible tops are known to be temperamental. Fortunately this one has just been serviced and works perfectly ($1000). a new canvas top ($1400) has been installed within the last year and looks almost like new. It has a hidden CD/Radio in the dash with sound coming from 2 front speakers on the kicker panels.
Mechanically this car is very sound. It has recently been serviced. It accelerates with ease and performs very well. It is very smooth and whispers along like a Lincoln should. The car has only 87K original miles and has been serviced regularly claims the previous owner. Some service records are still available with the car. This highly optioned continental came with AC, but the unit will need to be rebuilt to work. Upon purchasing the car, the suspension needed immediate attention. Therefore within the last 2 months the whole entire front suspension has been rebuilt ($5000). SOLD
