This is a really cool 50’s car that you don’t see everyday! This model was designed by Howard “Dutch” Darrin when car makers and designers were out to show off and make something different. The uniquely shaped windshield and rear glass as well as the rear tail lights have what is known as the “Darrin Dip” almost making it look like something from a cartoon. Finished in Horizon Blue with a Light Blue roof for contrast and having a nice wide Chrome molding down the side from front to back, Art Deco hood ornament and the factory Steel wheels with original wheel covers wrapped in wide wall tires give it the Classic look. The interior is finished in a nice comfortable blue cloth throughout and the dash has plenty of chrome with a stylish gauge cluster and original AM Radio. Under the hood sits a 226 Cubic inch inline 6 with solid lifters and was rated at 115 Horsepower. Surprisingly, these engines were actually used in Tractors and even Bilge pumps on large ships because of there reliability. The 3 on the tree manual transmission has the optional overdrive package which makes it a little easier to gain cruising speed going down the highway. Cruise in a Classic 50’s car without breaking the bank and you will probably be the only one at the show! SOLD
