The XJS has always been a special car. It was a car that was designed to replace the legendary E-type and remained the last handbuilt Jaguar. As these cars are escalating in value good low miles ones are harder and harder to find. Ladies and gentlemen what we have here is one of the finest Jaguar XJS's on the market to be found anywhere. And it has a very interesting story.
This is a one owner motorcar that has only 11,000 miles on it. With the exception of a new convertible top, it is 100% all original. It has been lovingly maintained over the years by it's one and only owner.
The original owner of this car was an 85-year-old holocaust survivor. The stories he told us we're horrifying, but inspired him to be a success when World War II ended. He ultimately became a very successful builder in the New York New Jersey area. He told us that every time he completed a project, he would go out and buy himself a special gift. In 1990 he completed one of his largest projects and awarded himself with this magnificent Jaguar.
He originally purchased this car at Rally Motors in New York. He kept it at his New-Jersey home drove it sparingly and only in good weather. Recently he brought it to his home in Florida and realized he just didn't use the car anymore. When we first learned of this car, we could not have been more impressed. Truly is one of the most magnificent XJS's we have ever seen.
As with all of our Jaguars, before putting this car on the market, we had a thorough inspection from the Jaguar Doctor in Boca Raton, Florida. To get this car ready for sale we performed:
Oil and filter change
Replace both window switches
Replace window switch bezel
Replace heater valve
Replace Accelerator bushings
Replace power steering rack bushings, washers, and space plate
Evacuate vacuum and recharge air-conditioning system
Flush cooling system
Flush entire brake system
Install for new tires
Perform wheel alignment
After completing our service work, we drove this car a couple hundred miles. We are proud to report that this car performs flawlessly. Every thing in it works as it should, and performs every operation is designed for it performs brilliantly. Even the cruise control works
