1969  Jaguar E Type 

Building on the legendary D-type competition cars, Jaguar released the E-type to an enthusiastic market, ready to purchase a road going version of the potent racecar.
The Series 2 E-type is regarded as the most drivable of the XKE Jaguars. Boasting the larger 4.2 litre engine, improved synchromesh gearbox and twelve volt electrical system, these cars are well suited to everyday traffic while still retaining the punch of their predecessors.

With 265 horsepower and 283 lb/ft, larger Girling disc brakes and an improved cooling system, the Series 2 is also well suited to competition in vintage club racing.

This E-type has benefitted from some minor mechanical work while in our care. Carburettors have been rebuilt, a new starter has been fitted and the car has received a thorough mechanical inspection.
