in 1941 and only a very few still survive in
original running condition. This solid family
owned 1941 International Harvester K-3 Stake-bed Truck has a clean title and is insured and intended to be sold with a Bill of Sale "as is". The truck has been prepped for paint and body shop work which is why the
windshield & other parts including windows,
door handles, etc. have been removed and are bagged and tagged in boxes ready for later installation after paint and body work are done. The truck is in its original
International Green exterior with Red cab
Interior along with the extended
130-inch wheelbase and 1-ton carrying
capacity. Original International hood
badge/ornament and side hood International and K-3 badges are included.
Driver and passenger step ups are ready to be installed and painted along with the truck. Passenger door lock with key and driver side handle lock are operable. Interior has a bench seat with storage underneath and a brown interior upholstery, new firewall and sound reducing flooring is read with new headliner to be installed with optional pop out v-windshield and hood scoop, single
wiper, and driver visor. Condition is Used.
This truck is clean, runs great and drives as
it should. It has the original Green
Diamond Inline Six 214 engine, a 4-speed
manual transmission in the floor, rear dually
with a hydraulic lift for the wood stake-bed
that dumps as 90 degrees. The engine has a
new rebuilt fuel pump and rebuilt water pump with a new 3 core all aluminum radiator with oil bath filter and a correct downdraft Zenith Carburetor. Truck is all original 6-volt system with 6-volt signal and hazard switch, new 6-volt battery with all new window glass panes for front windshield, driver and passenger doors with all new door and windows seals, headliner, interior 6-volt interior cab light, etc. ready for
installation. All new brake shoes have been
rivetted and installed with a new master
cylinder and rebuilt wheel cylinders along
with resurfaced drums and new emergency brake lines installed for solid braking. New
exhaust downpipe has been installed with
short tail pipe. All original service and
parts manuals are included. Each tire is
mounted on steel wheels with red beauty rings and correct chrome International center caps for front wheels. Some tires are new and the rest are in very good order while the tires show in good shape but are older. Compared to the K-1 and K-2 models, the K-3 has a heavier frame, larger brakes, and rear axles supported by two roller bearings on a free-floating rear end. This K-3 has the larger Green Diamond 214 CID Inline six. The new black headliner and matching, three-spoke steering wheel with the metal instrument panel and inner door liners and dashboard lights, choke and gas knobs are all in good, working order. The horn button is present, but the horn and Bosch windshield wiper are inoperable. The speedometer, temperature and
oil pressure gauges work, but the fuel gauge
is currently inoperable. All interior and
exterior truck cab parts have been removed
during restoration including 6-volt headlight
buckets, 6-volt signal lights, etc. are
packaged and labeled in boxes ready for
installation.
