The Hupmobile was built by the Hupp Motor Car company from 1909 to 1940 in Detroit Michigan. By 1910 production had soared to nearly 5000 as Hupp held its own with Ford and Chevrolet. Hupp increased market share and became very popular by pioneering all-steel bodies in an era where wood was commonplace. By the late 1920's Hupp had produced over 65,000 units. Every effort was taken to ensure originality and many original parts were rebuilt rather than replaced. This 1913 Model 20 has less than 500 miles on it since the restoration. This Very few Hupps remain and even fewer have been restored to original specs like this time capsule. The classic was recently appraised and scored high marks for originality.
