Thanks for stopping by to view our listing for a very cool Honda Z600 Coupe. These Z600 Coupes represented the beginning of the Japanese hot hatch and JDM movement in the US. Developed from Motorcycle roots, the Air Cooled 2 cylinder with an 8000 RPM Tach moves this super lightweight along at a reasonably fast clip. These cars were originally sold in Honda motorcycle dealerships alongside their 2 wheeled cousins because there were no Honda auto dealers in existence.

Rarity
Few and far between in 2019, many of these cars were delivered to the eastern US where rust took its toll. Noted Honda 600 authority Tim Mings got a look at this car and said that the low 53k mileage looked accurate due to the minimal wear on the interior. Tim said that these cars typically made it to the 50,000 mile mark, spit a part and then sat. That was exactly the case with our car.
Exterior.
Fresh two stage respray in Factory matched Pop Orange has been color sanded, polished and buffed to a high sheen. The car was disassembled and painted inside and out. The paint work was completed in the correct fashion, with all of the interior and glass removed. This is not to be confused with the inexpensive method but superior results require superior effort. Chrome is freshly replated and excellent.
Wheels, Tires
Restored Factory steel wheels with new 145/10 Falken tires.
Engine
Rebuilt 598cc, 2 cylinder motorcycle engine runs great. New top end. Polished head with fresh internals. Rebuilt Carburetor. New timing chain and guide. Detailed engine compartment.
Transmission
4 Speed transmission operates perfectly. Fresh rebuild by “Merciless” Tim Mings. New clutch and pressure plate.
Braking, Steering
Brake systems have been completely gone through and function perfectly. New shocks, pads, shoes, cylinders, brake lines. Calipers and drums serviced. Steering is precise. Detailed underneath.
