This 1964 Fairlane Thunderbolt is a recreation dedicated to the 1960`s famous drag racer, Dyno Don Nicholson. The record setting Thunderbolt was a limited production, factory experimental, drag race only car. There were 100 thunderbolts ordered from Ford with only approximately 65 still in existence and of those only 25-30 are together and running. The car is street legal so car shows, cruise ins, or just cruising the streets will turn heads everywhere it goes. The car is a work of art everywhere you look even underneath with many special parts including a chrome 4 speed transmission. When was the last time you saw a chrome 4 speed?
Outside, paint and decal work, bright work and glass are very nice, and of course it has the tear drop fiberglass hood and bumpers.
