1965 Ford Thunderbird Landau
White with Black Landau, black interior.
390 - 300HP V8 equipped. 75,900 miles. (Averages out less than 1500 miles per yr) Power windows(including vents), power drivers seat, swing away steering column, sequential taillights(working) reclining passenger seat, factory A/C (not working), cruise control(never tried it), vacuum operated door locks & trunk release, original hub caps. Leather interior all in good shape, has slight wear on drivers seat by controls. Body paint has a couple of road chips. Definitely a 20 footer.
Couple of issues that are know: Keep in mind this is a 52 yr old Classic Car.
Installed new passenger window motor, goes down - not up. Not sure if regulator bad or not.
Power antenna - can hear motor running, but does not retract.
Carpet will probably need replaced in front compartments
Drivers door leather around door pull is slightly ripped.
Original clock -- does not work - but technically correct twice a day.
Replaced/repaired : real seal, timing belt, window switches, plugs, plug wires, . I have a whole list of items that were addressed/inspected under the hood.
NADA values this at a Low Retail of $10,597 & Average at $18,400
Easily believe this Classic falls in-between. I have listed it with the understanding of the items I am aware of that still need addressed. As an original 50+ yr old Classic Car and the undeniable styling of the Thunderbird line, this car is still a head turner.
I did have a car cover for it, but it got shredded with the last two wind storms.
I am asking $10,900 with all of this in mind. I am open to a "reasonable offer".
Flat out do not have time to enjoy this vehicle any longer as summers are taken up with other activities.
Not looking for any Trades
Also - please DO NOT CALL/TEXT/E-MAIL me with solicitations to help me sell.
