This 1968 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. This Landau top Thunderbird was fully optioned, with the exception of a passenger side mirror and an AM/FM Radio, and purchased by a Doctor who lived in Ft. Mitchell Kentucky. The dealership was Bob Mac, and the Thunderbird was purchase on March 29th, 1968. Total cost of this Thunderbird was 6039.06, which is nearly 2 ½ times more than the average cost of a car in 1968. The Thunderbird has 71296 miles on it and was owned by a Doctor until he passed away. The Thunderbird was then purchased through an estate sale and owned by another gentleman until his passing. Inherited by his daughter, she just wants to find this very nice Thunderbird a new home. The 429 Thunderjet CID V8 engine was gone through recently with only the bearings needing to be replaced. The Pewter Mist paint does show some age, and at some time has had at the least, a partial repaint. The minor dents on the car would leave one to believe that the garage space where the good Doctor parked this luxury car was very tight. Inside the interior looks to be in great shape with minimal wear. Overall, this is a very nice all original classic luxury muscle car, that just needs a proud new owner. The Thunderbird can be driven for many years to come in its current state, or it could be turn into a super nice luxury resto-mod with power to spare
