1955 Ford Thunderbird 

This is an " ALL ORIGINAL" FRAME OFF "BLACK PLATE" 1955 Ford Thunderbird convertible with hard top included. My father purchased this car at the Auburn/Kruse classic car auction and did a complete frame off restoration. My father has been the owner of our areas premier auto body shop for over 50 years. No detail was left unattended to. There has never been any rust on this car and it is as straight as they come. It has been judged under "Concours Rules" and received a 97 out of 100 points. The car has no more than 300 miles on it since a frame off restoration was completed approximately 30 years ago at his shop. Since that time it has been shown limited times, generally trailored and has no more than 300 miles on it since it was completed. The car idles absolutely like a kitten but has a "slight miss" in it at present.The engine was rebuilt at restoration and we know this is a ignition issue. We are looking into this as we list this car for the first time "For Sale". I have inherited the car and have no storage space for it at present and it needs to go to a good home where it can be driven and shown.
