This was the top of the line T-Bird for 1996. It has the 4.6 litre, 281 cubic inch, fuel injected single overhead cam V8 engine, when most of them had the V6, 4 speed auto. overdrive trans, 4 wheel ABS power disc brakes, 4 wheel independent suspension, which is lowered all around, with posi rear and rear wheel drive. Only other car in 1996 with this setup was the Corvette, cruise control, Stereo AM/FM/Cassette, dual airbags, new tinted windshield, power drivers seat, power windows, power steering with tilt, cold air conditioning, anti-theft, 16 inch Ford Taurus mag wheels, dual exhaust, no rust or rot. This is a safe and reliable vehicle. No mechanical issues. It has been customized with an EZ RODS fiberglass body kit to resemble an early Ford hot rod. It has the appearance of a 1949 Ford barn find. It has a 1957 Corvette 13 tooth grill. It runs and drives and handles great. Get into the Street Rod scene for a nominal investment.
