Complete frame off restoration
This outstanding sedan was built in 1999 and driven very little only on dry summer days. It was designed to be both a show and go machine. Those goals were accomplished and beyond. Only the very best parts, paint, and mechanical components were used in building this very cool and different street rod.
It has undergone a complete frame-off in the process. The original steel sedan body has been chopped, smoothed, shaved and frenched. The fiberglass front fenders have late model recessed rectangular headlights. The custom tail lights are molded in. A custom fabricated, molded hood and scoop has been added for extra appeal.
The interior has been custom fabricated with a solid oak dash unit holding the VDO gauges and heating controls. The front bucket seats are wrapped in tan velour and vinyl, matching the custom built rear bench seat. The door panels, kick plates, and headliner are installed to matching specifications. A GM late model tilting column holds the chrome Grant 3-spoke steering wheel that turns the Mustang II with rack-n-pinion effortlessly.
The custom boxed frame holds the rebuilt and slightly modified small block Chevy in place. Many high performance parts have been used throughout the drive train. This car is in overall great condition inside and out and has passed an NSRA 23-point safety inspection.
This is a show and street machine that won’t get lost in the crowd. Please call or email for more information. SOLD
