This gorgeous Street Rod is all steel and was professionally built using only the best parts available. The top was chopped 2 inches and the roof was replaced with a section form a Vega station wagon. The rumble seat is power operated as is the rear window so passengers in the back can talk with who ever is in the front. It is completely rust free and was painted in a beautiful Sunset Orange which really sets off the re-chromed original 33 grille with the correct Ford emblem. This car was originally built in 1986 and had been stored in a climate controlled garage since which would explain how it still shows like new. The heart of this street rod is a 4 bolt main 383 ci V8 “Enforcer” that was professionally built by American Speed Racing Engines out of Moline, IL. The engine was purchased from them new in 1991, currently has less than 4,000 miles on it and was dyno tuned at 376hp. It is fitted with a show polished Weiand high rise intake manifold and a Holley 750cfm carb that is chrome and body colored and sounds just awesome ripping through its stainless steel exhaust system. At the same time that the engine was installed it received a new Turbo 400 that was performance built with a shift kit and a stall convertor. The power is put to the ground via a Dana 44 posi rear end out of a 79 Corvette which is also where the rear brakes and portions of the suspension came from. The brakes are all disc and everything except the rear calipers and rotors are from Magoo with all chrome or show polished parts. Everything on this sweet Street Rod is painted, powder coated, polished or chrome and shows amazingly as would be expected from a car of this caliber. The custom interior and rumble seat are tan velour with power windows, Stewart Warner gauges, a custom sound system and Air-Tique heat and A/C. All said and done over $70,000 was spent to bring this car to its present condition and that did not include the cost of the original car. This beauty has been appraised for $60,000 but has been priced to move as quickly as the car does so if you like what you see you better pick up the phone because it will not last long at the price we have listed it at!
