1 of 1 FACTORY MADE CUSTOM The idea of building a custom truck for show and display was presented to the Body Maintenance EI GP in November of 1983. In February of 1984 it was approved by Dearborn and assembly began in March of 1984. The Louisville Assembly Plant gave the truck the name "Team Machine" The truck made its debut in the 1984 Kentucky Derby Parade. From there it went to the Ford Proving Grounds for review by top company officials. It was displayed at many shows and dealerships and in 1985 was in the Chicago Auto Show. An employee raffle was then held to be able to purchase the truck. It has remained in Louisville KY since that time and has had no modifications or restorations. It has rounded doors at the top and bottom, custom interior, flared fenders to accommodate oversize tires, sunroof, duel recessed antennas, shaved door handles, and all completed in metal as a factory custom. The paint is amazing. The truck was first painted gold, then all of the panels were taped off and then the truck was painted orange, so the pin stripes are below the paint. It has a 5" factory installed lift with a hood scoop. This is a one of a kind factory custom 4 X 4 for your Ford Collection. SOLD
