TWO 1967 Mustang Fasback projects: 1967 C code mustang coupes converted to fastback with new Dynacorn reproduction sheet metal.
Original 7R01C code (Milpitas CA plant production hard top 289 V8-2b bl) car completely disassembled, media blasted, PPG epoxy primered, rotisserie mounted then all rusted parts removed, body restored with new welded metal panels where needed, added torque boxes and under frame steel tube reinforcement. New Dynacorn top, quarter panels, rear valence welded in place and leaded. All original doors and fenders media blasted and PPG primered. New fiberglass Elenor hood and full Shelby nose front end added.
Car includes all new glass: windshield, door windows and large rear window. In addition to the original coupe parts which were bagged and labeled, included are original Fastback operable vents with exterior louvers and interior fiberglass finish panels. Original parts include steering column, original dash instrument cluster, seats, door handles, emblems, trim pieces, visors, door window hardware, glove box door, chrome bumpers, exterior grille emblem, misc emblems, side louvers, new tail castings, hood hinges, trunk hinges, rear tail lights and trim, running lights, and many misc. parts and fasteners.
Other new parts included are window seal kit, complete body fastener and seal kits, Shelby headlight shells and mounting hardware.
Components NOT included are engine/transmission, suspension, brakes, wheels tires, radiator, etc…
Car “A” has been completely converted to fastback and comes with a body cart. Car “A” comes with clutch and brake assembly for a manual transmission.
Car “B” has all rust removal / metal restoration/ body and frame reinforcement completed and comes with interior steel tube bracing, all new Dynacorn sheet metal parts for the fastback conversion and a complete rotisserie with hydraulic jacks.
Car “B” also includes the original center console with shifter, panels and indicators for automatic transmission.
Clean California titles and non-operation registration status.
Purchased both cars in 1996 in running condition as father/son, father /daughter projects. Ten years later kids gone and projects need new homes. Loosing thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours, but that’s life.
