This 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra is for sale in our Louisville showroom. The beautiful 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra is a great representation of an unmolested original 1998 Mustang Cobra with only 14048 original miles. A quick glimpse of the Auto Check verifies that this is a 2 owner car, with a score of 61 that is much higher (13-37) than similar ’98 Cobras. When the current owner bought the Cobra in 1999 it had 5446 miles on it. The current owner is only putting about 500 miles on it per year, some would say this car is not even broke in yet. Other than some minor wear in the driver’s seat, which is to be expected, this car looks as good as the day it rolled out of the factory. The tan leather interior goes well with the black exterior, and the Cobra hood gives this Mustang a more menacing look than a normal GT. The 17 inch Cobra R wheels, wrapped in BF Goodrich Comp T/A radial tires, just add to the overall good looks of this untouched beauty. Of course, we saved the best part for last. Powering this gorgeous black Cobra, is the engine that would give birth to the infamous Terminator engines of ’03 & ’04. While 4.6 liters doesn’t sound like much, from the factory this engines puts out 300 hp, 300 lbf•ft of torque, making the new Cobra capable of 0–60 in 5.0 seconds with a 13.5 second quarter mile time. Finding one of these in this great of condition will be harder to find, as many enthusiasts have added power adders and suspension upgrades to maximize the potential of these Cobras.
