1967 Mustang Coupe
Engine: 289 (all cylinders have good compression) Mickey Thompson aluminum valve covers, new aluminum radiator (original valve cover and air cleaner assembly included)
Ignition: HEI electronic ignition
Carb: 750 Carter 4 Barrel manual choke, Originally had 2Barrel Autolite. 2 Barrel Carb and manifold included with car
Transmission: rebuilt ‘68 C4 3 Speed Auto, shift kit. 1st must be manually engaged, Drive will start in second. still great acceleration. May be a transmission adjustment.
Rear differential: 8inch 3:55 ratio conventional, original 2:73 ring and pinion included
Exhaust: Long headers and X pipe with cut outs. Use to have manual valves to switch from straight pipe to muffler but always stuck or would not fully close off on way or the other. Use plugs on end of side pipes for city driving . original exhaust manifold included
5 Jim Osborn assembly manuals included, Ford's intermediate mustang shop manual, Mustang illustration, and owners manual included
Upgraded seat belts ( retractable shoulder), new rear belts
Heater box, blower and heater core not included. Controls and cables included
Washer fluid foot pump and reservoir not included
External lights all functional, Wipers and courtesy lights functional. All gauges functional, Dash lights not working, believe it needs a new switch.
Ran mid 15s at Bandimere Speedway more than 5280 feet elevation. Could not get traction with the conventional rear differential, smoking tire all the way though first putting on an estimated 1.5 seconds on 1/4 mile time.
Clean, fun Car, hate selling it. Great driving project, with original parts. I had big plans for this car but was always on a tight budget and now must sell. SOLD
