One nice thing about a Classic Racecar is most of them can be driven on the streets too! This vintage Fastback was built for weekend track days with the Cobra Club and it is set up to carve some serious corners. The previous owner started with a straight and solid body and chassis then painted it in a nice bright Bayside Blue Metallic with White racing stripes, Fiberglass hood with hood pins and Shelby style lower valance and side scoops. Under the hood sits a feisty 347 Stroker motor with approximately 425 Horsepower, Edelbrock Aluminum heads, Edelbrock Aluminum intake manifold, Demon 650 CFM dual feed carburetor, Isky Cam, S&S Brand 1 3/4 inch coated headers with performance Box mufflers for some side exit rumbling, Accel Distributor with MSD Coil, 8 1/2 quart Road Race oil pan and Aluminum Radiator for cooling. The transmission is a T-5 Borg Warner 5 speed manual gearbox with a Lakewood Scatter shield, Centerforce dual friction clutch with lightened flywheel followed by a Ford nodular 9 inch rear differential with Mosier Axle studs, Detroit locker 3.89 ratio and 10 inch rear Drums. All the real work went into the performance suspension with the addition of Global West upper and lower control arms, Global West Track 5 Leaf springs, Koni Shocks re-valved for Road Racing, 1 inch Standbar adjustable sway bar, heavy duty dual master cylinder with front disc brakes, adjustable braces on the shock towers and a blue printed close ratio manual steering box, The interior is finished in simple black vinyl with factory bucket seats, an Auto Power back half roll bar with rear folding seat still accessible, racing seat belts, Shelby dash top gauge pod, Hurst shifter, custom 3 spoke steering wheel and old school AM/FM cassette stereo. This car looks the part with it’s lowered stance, 15 inch cast center American racing wheels with new tires and that raspy sounding V8 under the hood! You don’t race it, but you can! SOLD
