This was Specialey made tribute , one of only one made of a 1968 GT500KR convertible .
by Downs Ford in New Jersey with Sheldy parts on a new 2006 GT mustang convertible and had a Special supension and tonneau cover added at additional cost . Also other work and parts were used to increase HP .This was the first of others that were going to be built , but the cost to build was too high to make a good enough profit and this was the first and last one built. 4.6L V8 with headers new high flow cats , high volume throttle body , low restriction mufflers .Diablo Predator tuner with 3 tunes for octane adjusting . Can adjust from 87 octane, to 89 octane to 93 octane to obtain about 428 Hp at crank . Over $60,000 into building this Replica, of a 68 GT500KR convertible . One of one made . Has many new parts just replaced with in 3000 miles are new clutch and throw out bearing ,new leather interior ,tires, low resection catalytic converters, shocks ,brake pads, and other miscellaneous parts, looks and runs great .This car is a real head turner and many thumbs up. I am 72 and have hip replacements and have problem if I drive it over 40 miles . So that is why I am selling it .
