Not only were the Model A's great production cars that were most used as a commute car or a family car, what made these models so famous were how easily the basic body can be re-tooled to make it a pickup truck instead of a 4-seater car. Most notably, the frame had been changed in the 1932 Model year, making it even more desirable to hotrodders.
