1966 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible

Awesome price for a classic car in this condition! This car was purchased by me in May, 2002 from an elderly man in North Carolina. Solid frame, and very little rust on this beauty. Car is stored inside year round.

Interior: The carpet, seats, console and door panels are in excellent condition. The dashboard and steering wheel are functional, but new ones would complete the interior.

Exterior: Solid frame and very little rust. Minimal pitting on chrome. Convertible top (with glass back window) works and is in great condition.

Mechanical: Engine is a 352 V8. Transmission does leak, but car shifts smooth and consistent. Dual exhaust.

New tires (approximately 75 miles on tires since installation), rebuilt engine, new water pump, carburetor, and radiator.

This car gets plenty of attention when it goes for a spin and I hate to part with it, but I no longer have the time to devote to its continued restoration. This classic would make an excellent cruiser as is, and for a fraction of what they go for when fully restored.
