Collectible 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie
This is a rust free Colorado Car with under 1,000 miles since ground up restoration
Original 390 Z code car with power steering, power brakes, factory 4-speed, Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.55 posi rear differential. Engine was swapped out for a 1963 correct 406 with Tri-Power that has been rebuilt to factory specs, and correct badging. Engine numbers are as follows: Block casting #C3aed with a "HP" stamped right below--which is correct for a 1963 Ford 406.
Car has undergone an extensive, ground up restoration during 2007-2010.
Beautiful new black paint with deep, rich gloss. Laser straight car. Hood, trunk and doors all align perfectly.
New interior, including carpet, dash and arm rests.
All stainless and trim have been redone and polished.including front grill and headlight rings.
Front and rear bumpers have been replated.
Great looking Custom Billet aluminum gauge instrument panel. Full compliment of Auto Meter gauges including fuel, amps, speedo and tach, which all work perfectly. NOTE: THE ORGINAL INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CLUSTER WILL BE INCLUDED WITH THE CAR.
All the glass is in great condition. Window mechanisms have been serviced and lubed so windows operate smoothly.
Completely new 2.5 inch exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
Wheels are all new chrome moons with new Cooper Cobra Radials. 275/60/15 tires on the rear and 235/60/15 tires on the front.
New spark plugs, plug wires, distrbutor cap, rotor, points and condenser. Distributor is a Mallory Dual Point.
Factory correct, highly polished Tri-Power air cleaner. All new belts and hoses.
Tri-Power carburetors were just rebuilt. Front and rear carburetors Holley list #2437 and Ford #c1ae9510au; center carburetor Holley list #2436 and Ford #c1ae9510-a.
Ignition, trunk and door locks have all been re-keyed and work smoothly.
Clock has been converted to quartz.
New Grant mahogany steering wheel.
All new weather strip - quarter windows, cat whiskers, doors, roof rail, and deck lid.
All light's have been replaced and work properly - headlights, tail lights, brake lights, side markers, dome lights, and courtesy lights.
Brakes, wheel cylinder's and hardware are new and all bearings serviced. The car stops nice and straight.
All fluids changed - rear differential, radiator, oil, transmission, power steering, and brake fluid.
Chrome value covers in the picture have been replaced with the correct Gold Thunderbird value covers...NEW PICTURES TO COME
Honestly, it is done and needs nothing. The car starts, runs, and drives as it did in 1963 or better! A true example of a muscle car from this era. Ford won every NASCAR race in 1963. Very collectible investment grade car which can be enjoyed and will only go up in value.
