Very rare true survivor in great condition.
Antique/Classic / Green lane, pa 18054, Pennsylvania
If you are considering starting or adding to
your car collection, this is one of the
rarest of them all. Search 1978 Ford
Fiestas for sale and you’ll see. There were
only two in the entire country when I
searched; this beauty and one other that had
rusted out floorboards and trunk priced at
$4,595. Very, very few of these Fiestas
survived and they only made this model and
style for a couple years. This one is
nearly completely rust free and no rust on
the underside and in great nick (as they say
in the UK) having been from Washington State
before the last owner who had it shipped to
Pennsylvania at a cost of $1100 recently.
My price in all original condition is
firm at $4895. Where ya
gonna find another really interesting fun-to-drive car in this kind of great
original shape? It runs like a top.
It is Titled with an antique tag that can be
transferred to the new (PA only) owner if you wish.
AND ... the best part is that there are NO INSPECTIONS OR EMMISIONS REQUIRED again as long as this antique tag is on the car.
It is rated at 46 MPG highway. Are you paying attention? I said 46mpg, folks. I bet that I
can get 50+ out of her the way I drive being that I'm 70 years old, retired, and I drive like an old man (according to my wife of 50 years). This is a really nice little car for either an old fart like me or a young person just getting started. What a starter this would be because it's cheaper to drive than most
motorcycles including mine. I get 49mpg on
my 92 Harley Electraglide and I bet this car will too. Most of the big Harleys get
about 35 mpg. This pocket rocket is really
fun to drive, very quick, and it has all new tires and
much more. Not a cliche here; she turns heads and starts nostalgic conversations everywhere I go. Pretty good spheel, huh? Howmi doin'?
Come take a test drive. You'll fall in love. If you don't, I'll keep her.
The AM radio DOES WORK. I got the stuck antenna up and the AM radio works just fine. I can’t get the trip mileage gauge to read to zero when the button is pushed. I’ll keep trying. Everything else seems to work just fine. There is going to be a little delay. I found today that by applying for an antique tag, PENDOT takes 30 to 60 or so days to return the title so I don't have the title back yet. That doesn't mean we can't make the deal though. SOLD
