Up for sale in our Tampa Showroom is this beautifully restored from top-tp-bottom, 1963 Ford Falcon Futura. Made very popular during the late 50's and early 60's, the Ford Falcon came very well optioned during these years, allowing a purchaser to pick pretty much every detail they liked in a car. The Ford Falcon was popular with the youth of this era in it's simplicity, but easily customizable styling. Purchasing this car in 1963 meant you would be able to sit down, pick your transmission, engine, interior and exterior coloring, and at an extremely affordable price. Later over-shadowed by the Mustang in 1964, the Falcon was very popular with racers, either on the street, or ever growing into sanctioned racing at the time. These were very popular for multiple reasons, the chassis is of course a Unibody design, which meant ultimately, the car could be kept extremely light and still maintain it's overall integrity as you drive down the road. This particular 1963 Ford Falcon is built with a 170 cubic inch inline 6, which is extremely stout, very well built, and runs like a bull. What makes these engines so desirable is the ease of repairs when something goes wrong. Mated to a 2-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission, which is admired by Ford lovers across the world, this little pony car is sure to impress, and a need for any collector. The interior is a stunning vinyl interior, complete with bench seats so you can easy get comfortable for long distances across the country in this car. The restoration was kept as original as possible, only utilizing features found in 1963, like the original AM Radio, the Hub Caps, even small parts like the voltage regulator were used instead of replacing for more modern technology. This little car is a sure time capsule of driving enjoyment. Options include AM Radio, Hub Caps, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, Vinyl Interior and original Numbers Matching Engine/Transmission.
