1964 Falcon Prostreet $14,500 OBO Dunlap, TN
This 1964 Falcon Sprint was specifically built to be a fun car to own and drive. It will look very nice at cruise ins, on the street, or just as at home at the drag strip.
Besides being a very nice looking car, it looks like it really means business with its tear drop bubble hood, 8 point roll cage, and its exhaust exiting through the front tires. Side pipes in front of the 14 inch wide protrack tread rear tires and the front tires are 165/R/15. Rubber is good and on polished weld wheels. The car has been lightened up with a fiberglass hood, trunk, and bumpers.
To add to the drag car appearance, a fuel pressure gauge sits on the cowl with dash mounted tach, and in the dash mounted oil and temperature gauge. It also has voltmeter gauge. A fire extinguisher is mounted between the two adjustable racing seats. Interior including carpet looks nice. Bright work is straight with glossy finish. The trunk also has a nice touch being carpeted with the fuel cell enclosed and battery box.
The engine is a small block 347 C.I. with MSD ignition and the transmission is a performance C-4 automatic with a 3500 stall and B & M shifter. The rear-end has a ladder bars, coil over shocks, and a 9 inch rear that's 4.11 gear ratio and positraction. Four wheel disc brakes stop the beast after you have turned it loose. Lights and turn signals work, radio does not, who would want to hear commercials anyway instead of the music the flow masters make?
