Car started out as your standard Fairlane 500 2dr. hard top. After looking for almost two years for a decent Sport Coupe without rust, I gave up and settled for a nice standard hard top. Bucket seats were found in Texas, console in Tennessee, sail panels from Kansas, hood from Georgia, chrome script pieces and trim were all found on internet. I’ve had the car for about 8 years and spent the first two putting it together. Interior is from Dearborn Classics (Carpet, headliner, seat covers, door panels). All rubber is from Dennis Carpenter (Door seals, window seals, hard top seals, trunk seal, and hood seals). Bumpers are from Bumper Boyz. Mid rise Edlebrock intake with Edlebrock 500 CFM, Petronics Dist, front disc brakes, engine is 289 hooked to the C4, rear brakes have new cyl & shoes, new gas tank, trunk mat, Grant wood steering wheel, disc player, many more items to numerous to list.
Car is garage kept and driven very little. Cruise from time to time and usually take in a few local shows per year. I would estimate the car to be driven less than 400 miles per year. Paint is good with bright trim and shows well. Car is sold with bill of sale because Alabama did not have a title law till 1974. Title can be applied for in your state. Car can be inspected by appointment only. Thank you for looking at my ad Please ask any questions if you have concerns. Call after 6:00 PM (256-828-1816) or email at hshepard@bellsouth.net .
