This is a solid old truck and it runs nice. This is a somewhat rare short wheelbase f6. The frame is original and un-cut. I don't know the production numbers but they are rare from what I've found. Most of these trucks with the heavy suspension had much longer frames. It is a dually but it had been run with single wheels and that's what I'd do if I kept it. I do have the duals to go with it if you want. This has the flathead v8 and it runs nice. Starts right up and idles nicely. No smoke. No ticks or knocks. 4-speed with two speed rear. I have tried all the gears but did not have it on the highway to try the 2-speed rear. I'm sure it works but there is very little to go wrong if it doesn't. Rear tires are new old stock. New electric fuel pump. The fuel tank needs clean so it's running on a temporary one for loading and lot driving. Ignition and starter have new wiring but the rest of the wiring should be replaced and is disconnected. Wiring kits are cheap and easy to install on a rig like this. The brakes work fine but I've only driven it at slow speeds so they should be checked out. Parking brake works also. The truck could use the usual tuneup stuff like wires/cap/rotor and new fluids. It needs nothing major mechanicall. The sheetmetal is very nice. No large dents and few small ones. No bondo. Minor rust in the floorpans where your feet sit. They don't need to be changed and are solid. Nice stainless grille. Doors and windows work but drivers outside door handle isn't working properly and the window crank is broke off so it will need a new regulator. This has an old school aftermarket radio that is neat. The flatbed has new joists but old weathered wood was used for the deck. I didn't do a headache rack or side racks/rails because there are many ways to do that so I thought the future owner could decide. The original taillight is still in place. Clear title.
