Clean 1978 F250 4x4 Ranger. No rust-through! $12,500. Located in Eureka Montana. 400 V8 with automatic transmission. The truck runs nice. It will need a little work to be a daily driver but it needs no major mechanical work. The motor runs nice. It's a stock 400. New fuel pump, a couple new u-joints, new rear diff seal. The transfer case needs new seals on both output shafts. They don't leak bad so you could drive it without worrying about it but they do leak. Period correct hurricane/turbine wheels. The tires on the truck are in decent shape but weather cracked. I do have the original ford steel wheels that have nicer tires on them. I can put those back on if you prefer. The brakes work well. Lights, heater, wipers work. The radio doesn't seem to work. This has dual exhaust that sounds ok but has a couple leaks. I'm sure it's fixable but a new system wouldn't hurt. Front seal in the transmission is new. The 4x4 works as it should. The body is not perfect on the truck but really nice for an unrestored truck. There is no rust-through. I have to specify rust-through, because if I put no rust, alot of people that don't know better will comment that they see surface rust. There is no rust of any concern. The cab mounts, cab corners, floors, floor supports, jams, sills and rockers have no rust. The box, tailgate, fenders, doors, hood, header, etc... don't have any rust. I have restored many vehicles and I know the difference between surface rust and rust-through. I have extensive undercarriage pics I can send. The drivers door, hood, and drivers front fender were damaged at one point and painted. The rest of the paint looks original and the paint does match the factory two-tone paint code. The paint code is BR, which is dark jade metallic and light jade. The front bumper is new. The interior is in decent shape. Seat has separated at the seam kind of in the middle. An upholster may be able to fix that. The carpet is newer but needs a little fine tuning to fit better. Radio doesn't work. Dashpad cracked. Clear title on the truck.
