1973 Ford Ranger XLT Highboy, factory A/C: 1 owner until 2017 when I purchased it, from the original owner. Owners manual and ford data plate are in the original owners name also. The tags on the truck say 1979. From what I was told, the truck has been parked since that time. The original owner started working in Alaska, but kept the truck at his house in Montana and stopped driving it. No rust-through. Factory A/C. Owners manual, protecto plate. V8 with automatic transmission. The motor was completely rebuilt in the early 1980's, with paperwork. The transmission looks newer, and was probably rebuilt also. The original owner was not driving the truck when he had the motor rebuilt. He thought it had locked up from sitting and not being driven. Body repair on rear drivers side corner. Light filler. No rust. Very straight besides the corner mentioned. The paint would clean up better but it has the normal flaws, chips, scratches, wear, fading. The truck is very original, Including floormats that are possibly original. Turbine wheels not included. Original split rims come on it and are pictured also. Mileage is 24111. I don't know for sure if that's original or if it had rolled over. It has been a couple years since I bought it so I don't remember all the details. The motor doesn't smoke, knock, tick, or have blowby. It has a larger camshaft than original, but pretty tame. The transmission works perfectly. No leaks. 4x4 works fine. Power steering and brakes work fine. It hasn't been on the road for awhile so I'd recommend a tune-up, fresh fluids, and new tires. The tires aren't weather cracked but old. Interior is pretty nice. Not perfect but very good. Pics tell the story. More pics available. No undercarriage, floorpan, or cab corner rust. Frame, cab, doors, hood, box, tailgate, etc. have no rust-through. The a/c pump does kick on when it's turned on, but no cold air so I'm sure it needs charged up.
