1971 Sport Custom Rolling / Running project truck that is 95% complete, just needs to be put together. Red exterior/ interior, original paint, 390 motor, C-6 transmission, rear wheel drive, limited slip differential, power steering, power brakes. Nice body and interior. It needs a little rust repair, especially at the bed edges. This truck is solid and straight. Doors and tailgate click shut.
This amazing survivor is all original except the 360 is now a 390 and a CB radio, antenna, door speakers and two auxiliary fuel tanks were added.
HISTORY: Original owner died and truck was gifted to his best friend, a master mechanic, who was also elderly and began restoration including; complete brake and steering system, new power booster, brake lines, Redhead steering box, tie rods, springs, shock absorbers, steering linkage etc… He too passed before completed, I purchased this cool classic from his widow.
The finish is weathered but has a beautiful patina. It starts right up and shifts but it is not drivable and MUST BE TOWED. (Missing the inner fenders, core support, front bumper and some minor parts. Asking $3700 or best offer.
