This is a one of a kind custom 1966 ford shortbed f100 truck, with a 302 big block V8 that was fully rebuilt 20,000 miles ago! A new electronic ignition, new plugs and wires, distributor, coil, alternator, brand new battery, a chrome air cleaner cover, 4 barrell carb, new tranfer case and bearings, Twin I beam front suspension and brand new brakes. EVERYTHING on this truck works!..even down to the windshield wiper sprayers!
It has a 4 speed shift on the floor stick, and can lay rubber for half a block! It has a custom dual exhaust with glasspack mufflers and dual chrome tips on each side and sounds very "throaty" and mean as he*l*!. 50's style rod whitewalls, chome caps, and has been lowered 4 inches in the rear and 3 in the front to give it that Hot Rod look! New black leather style fold forward bench seat cover, with white stitching, retractable black modern click to release lap seat belts. A fully restored dash and interior, all new glass, with absolutely no cracks or discoloration. New chrome mirrors, custom brushed aluminum cross symbols on each quarter panel,a hood scoop, plus all of the ugly chrome trim has been removed and leaded in and "shaved" smooth to give it that "Streamlined, Clean" look.
It is sprayed a beautiful satin black paint, and a white top. Custom chrome pin stripes. The chrome bumper, grill and headlights are very clean with no dents or rust!
A sony digital CD player, (installed in dash, but not wired in yet). a new cell style antannae, and 6" door speakers with chrome covers. A gun chrome barrel style suicide knob on the steering wheel, with a matching chrome gun barrell style shifter on the stick, a double silver power splitter that lights up and glows neon blue.
All of the lights interior and exterior work, including headlamps, and blinkers and brake lights.
This Truck has taken over a year to rod out and look this good! It is a MAJOR head turner!!! And just the "ROAR" of it cruising down the road gets peoples jaws to drop!
I have seen 66 Fords (The best looking F series EVER!) "in my opinion", non running with nothing done to them, for around the same price! And up to $55,000 fully rodded or restored!!
I have done most of the work myself, and it is about 95% complete.. Just a few small things like new rubber trim around the front flipper windows, new front shocks, (cheap)..just go to pep boys n have em do it.. and very minor details here and there..
