1947 Ford Deluxe Coupe! BARN FRESH! What A Find! Right straight from years of storage in Grand Dads Barn. This 1947 Ford Deluxe coupe has a flat head V8 engine, (Is Stuck), has original 3 speed standard shift on the column. This coupe is an honest 99 percent Rust Free car, You can see the two small spots of rust out in the trunk floor, and on the edge of the bottom of the trunk lid. There is a very small spot in the bottom of the front cowl, but nothing too hard to repair. Floors are good, and rear floor still has original factory paint. Has very clean doors, hood, quarter panels, roof and drip rails. You will not be fixing much rust out in this car. It does have lots of small dings and dents throughout the body, but again nothing real hard to fix. Will need most of the glass which is flat glass, rear curved glass is good. The outside stainless trim will need to be replaced, and some is laying inside the trunk, and some is missing. Bob Drake has all the trim pieces for these cars.
The bumpers are straight, but will need to be re-plated. This is a great body to start with. The Flathead V8 engine is complete with all the parts intact. The car has been sitting for several years, so the engine is stuck. We have oiled up the engine, so maybe it will loosen up, and ready for you to work on.
The interior is complete as well as the dash, and the gauges are nice, you can still see the numbers. The interior will need to be completely redone. Does have the original seats, but the material is in poor condition. We do have a title for this car, and we can help with shipping arrangements worldwide too. The wheels and tires that are in these pictures will not be included, but we do have all 4 of the original 16 inch wheels. So, we will put something back on the car so it can be moved around.
