1957 Ford Custom 300 $29,900 OBO – Dunlap, TN
The 1957 Ford Custom 300 is one of the more popular classic Fords and not as easily found especially this nice. This Custom 300 has the traditional look with steel wheels, small hub caps, and era correct interior to give it a very factory appearance.
However, when you open the forward hinged hood, you find a 350 CI Cleveland engine with an Edlebrock performer aluminum intake, four barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, aluminum water pump, chrome breather, and a be cool aluminum radiator which gives the engine compartment the look of being full of engine and detailed nicely. When you start the engine you can’t help enjoy listening to the sound of the thumping cam through Flowmaster exhaust. The transmission is a C-4 automatic with the shifter on the column as factory. The car drives very well with its new suspension parts and current front end alignment. Brakes are excellent.
The exterior of the car is eye catching with its slick paint, nice bight work, and glass. Body gaps are good and the weather stripping has been replaced. The interior is very good. Seats, door panels, headliner, and the carpet show hardly any signs of wear. Dash paint and dash trim also look very good. There is an under dash gauge cluster which contains oil pressure, temperature, and an amp meter. A sun tach is mounted on the steering column and the radio is an AM/FM cassette stereo.
