This one was built the old school way from the ground up with period correct Hot Rod favorites! This all original steel bodied 34 Ford Coupe has a 3 inch chop along with a recessed firewall, filled cowl, pop out windshield, louvered hood and finished in a beautiful Montego Blue Pearl Metallic. The chassis is highly detailed and painted to match, boxed and strengthened, 32 Ford pinched frame horns, powder coated suspension components, drop axle with early Lincoln brakes, 58 Edsel 9 inch rear with 3.55 gears and custom fuel tank. Sitting pretty for all to see is a fresh built W block 348 Chevy V8 with polished finned valve covers, original tri power intake manifold, 3 new Stromberg carburetors, cast iron exhaust manifolds, custom dual exhaust to the rear with side exit lake pipes and removable block off plates if you want to make some noise. The only modern feature for drivability is a 5 Speed manual transmission with hydraulic clutch so freeway speeds are not an issue. The wheels are staggered 15 inch chrome steelies with old school wide whites with cheater slicks to complete the bad boy look. The interior is a blast from the past with a 51 Ford Steering wheel, machine spun dash insert, Stewart Warner gauges, vintage Sun Tachometer, Black Vinyl with cloth insert seats, deluxe Black carpets and Hurst floor shifter. This stunning Hot Rod won it’s class at the 2011 Grand National Roadster show and has only clocked a little over 1300 miles since it’s completion. SOLD
