Ready for the car shows or cruise-ins, this beautiful example of the 66 Dodge Dart will get you thumbs up from the admiring crowd as you cruise the boulevard or pull in to your local cruise-in.
Recognized by many as a true muscle car, these classics are very popular.
Squeezed under the hood is a 375 hp 383 cubic inch big block tied to a 727 automatic with Lokar shifter and a 355 positraction rear. The beautiful 17 inch mags and the like new low profile tires complete the cool looks of this custom tri-color painted Dart.
The early Darts have always been a favorite among hot rodders and it would be nearly impossible to find one nicer looking than this. Electric steering was just added to this and not only is the steering as good as any power steering, just a turn of the key makes the power steering work even if the engine is not running. The front brakes are disc and the rear are drum.
All lights, signals, gauges ( except amp – use volts instead ), horn, and wipers work. The radio and heater are not connected. The interior is in near perfect condition. The dash looks gold in the picture, but it is black and the gold is an overhead garage light reflection. Floors, trunk, and undercarriage show no rust at all. All metal appears to be original.
Car has a very slight transmission fluid leak after sitting a few days, but runs, drives, and stops great.
My declining health is the only reason I am selling. $16,500.
