Unusual 1988 Dodge Dakota 4wd 8� bed pickup
Driven only 2,500 miles a year for the past 12 years. This truck was originally purchased and remained in the same little mid-northern Pennsylvania mountain town (Waterville, PA) for its entire life and was only driven to the local town post office, grocery story, bank, and back home to a heated garage. It was not driven in winter although it has 4wd. VERY UNUSUAL 8� bed with 4 wheel drive and only 103,000 original miles. It was driven about 2,000 miles between the last two inspections. Full towing package installed but never used. Has brand new front brakes and brake calipers with almost brand new snow tires all around and new brake lines in rear along with new rear hubs. 3.9 liter fuel injected V6 engine with automatic trans and gets around 20mpg. Some minor rust at fender flares has been rust inhibited and is an easy repair if wanted. No AC means less to worry about and manual windows. It has AM/FM radio and cassette tape player and it runs and drives tight and strong in every respect. The suspension is HEAVY DUTY. Ignition key does not work the door locks. The former owner who is in his late 80�s said he never engaged the four wheel drive function since new and he always maintained it perfectly during its entire life. The current owner for the past 3 years is 70. That�s me. Old farts take great care of our vehicles.
