First Introduced in 1968 the Super Bee was available through 1971 and disappeared for 36 years until it was brought back in 2006 as a 2007 model at the North American Int’l Auto Show. The new Super Bee was based on the Charger SRT8 and has a special Detonator Yellow paint with flat black decals on the hood, sides and rear of the car. The wheels are completely polished and the interior is completely black with yellow stitching on the seats and shift knob. The appearance of the shifter bezel and center console resemble that of carbon fiber and the Super Bee logo appears in the instrument cluster when starting the car. It is a limited edition car, with only 1000 built for model year 2007. The heart of this monster is the 425 hp HEMI 6.1 Liter engine that sounds just plain nasty ripping through its dual performance exhaust system. This particular example is # 642 of 1,000 and is loaded with $8,265.00 worth of options which includes the SRT Groups, I, II, & III as well as the supplemental side airbags, power sunroof, 245/45ZR20 all season performance tires and the rear entertainment video system with kicker mobile surround sound. The options for the SRT Groups are as follows. Group I adds air filtering, auto head lamps, dual zone auto a/c, heated front seats and one touch up and down front windows. Group II adds the Kicker 11 speaker sound system with amplifier and subwoofer. Group III adds the Navigation, 6 disc MP3 changer, auto dimming rear view mirror and Uconnect. It currently has just over 93,000 miles and is covered under a transferable, bumper to bumper extended warranty which is good through 02/16/17 or 125,000 miles. Everything is perfect working order mechanically but it could use some aesthetic repairs which include repairing a few dents and scratches as well replacing the windshield and installing some new graphics. We have gotten estimates to have everything repaired to new condition which comes to $2,400.00. Instead of making these repairs we have decided to offer the car far below market value. Considering its limited availability and the fact the comparable cars are selling for $4,000 - $5,000 more than we are asking this beauty is priced to move as fast as it goes!
