The Challenger name has been used three different times by Dodge since its introduction in 1970. The third and current generation is a pony car that was introduced in early 2008 as a rival to the evolved 5th generation Mustangs and Camaros. Many design cues of the current Dodge Challenger were adapted from the 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T which gives it the mean look it has. This particular example comes with all of the standard features found in an R/T and was upgraded with the Plus package. This package includes the 5.7L Hemi, heated front seats, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power tilt / telescoping steering wheel, Napa Leather, 20” polished wheels with graphite pockets, a 6 speaker sound system with a 276 watt amp, back up sensors, a rear view camera, a rear spoiler, a shark fin antenna and a universal garage door opener. In addition to the plus package it was also upgraded with a TorqueFlite 8 speed auto transmission, a sunroof and the Uconnect 8.4” Nav. In June of 2016 it was sent to Arrington Performance in Martinsville, VA who added a Whipple Supercharger and dyno tuned the car. It is now putting out 563 hp at the crank which is the same as 496 HP to the rear wheels. Not only is it incredibly fast but it is reliable enough to be your daily driver. It was also upgraded with a Borla performance exhaust system that sounds just plain nasty when you get into it. This is a one owner car that has been pampered since day one and is in pristine condition. It currently has 37,772 miles and was just serviced at 37,521 miles. It is in perfect mechanical condition and in need of nothing but a new home. Over $60,000 was spent on this build yet we have priced it as if it were a stock R/T Plus as we know it is still a buyer’s market. At this price this beauty is certain to sell faster than it goes so you better pick up the phone before someone else does! SOLD
