This custom car was originally built in New Jersey. My father purchased the car in 2012, and had it shipped to Arizona where he began adding custom touches. He started with the interior; replacing all the fabric, headliner, carpet, and added custom lighting. Next, he removed the exhaust and added all custom side exit exhaust. He also added a polished Edlebrock air gap intake and holley carb. Unfortunately, he became ill and has since passed. I had the car shipped to me, where it currently resides in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.
It is an all-steel body with the roof chopped 3-inches. Engine is a 400ci Chevy small-block V8 that has been bored and stroked to 421 with Corvette aluminum heads, Edelbrock RPM intake with Air Gap, 750 Holley double-pumper carb, steel running boards, Rootlieb custom hood with removable side panels, Vega wagon-top ribbed insert, auxiliary trans filter, shaved door handles and hidden hinges, doors open with toe-tip buttons under running boards or with inner lock buttons, molded rear fenders and gas tank cover, custom remote gas-fill, external battery terminals under left running board, all new interior with Dodge Daytona seats, smoothed front fenders with 'Star Stopper', molded radiator shell with cap section removed, SS grill insert, glue-in windshield, Progressive front-end with Mustang II suspension, rear spring reversed eyes and arcs, 22-gallon stainless fuel tank, widened rear wheel wells, Lincoln Mark VIII opalescence pearl white paint, gold-base white ghost flames.
