I have over $6,000 invested into this car. It is a family heirloom that unfortunately must be sold to pay off debt. I love this car and hate to see it go, but I just don't have the time to finish it and I hate to see it just setting around.
The car has approximately 205k original miles. It is mostly restored (not necessarily to original.)
The body has over $1,500 worth of work recently done. (New paint, valence, hood, etc.)
Less than 1k miles on a $2,000 professional transmission rebuild including new clutch, master, slave, gears, forks, throwout bearings, fluids, etc.
I just spent over $400 getting the head professionally machined including brand new gaskets from water to head and manifolds. Also included a valve job.
New brake pads, fluids, cable, rebuilt calipers, new master cylinder, bled, etc.
New exhaust. (2.5" stainless steel pipes, Thrush muffler, 3" dual tip cat back style tail pipes.)
Professionally tinted windows (15% all around)
Engine bay and undercarriage has been pressure washed and cleaned.
Tires and suspension in decent shape. (probably needs alignment.)
Power steering works, but is currently disconnected. (have R&P boots and belt needed to install)
Currently there is no heat or AC in the car, but I have all of the components needed to reinstall including new heater core, AC condenser, etc.
New stereo including 2 4" dash speakers,2 7.1/2" behind seat and 2 8" subwoofers powered by new 200 watt amp.
Interior was originally red, but it was in pretty rough shape so I redid it in tan. Could use paint touchup, factory carpet, and some racing seats which could be done for a couple hundred bucks. My intentions for the interior was to make it more of a custom racecar cockpit than factory condition. The door locks work, but need adjustment. I have no key. Ignition has been rewired to a switch and push button start.
Other new parts installed include:
Radiator, coil, coil wires, rotor, rotor cap, gaskets, fuel injectors, O-rings, hoses, vacuum tubes, wires, air filter, oil, oil filter, water hoses, water gaskets, fuel filter, fuel lines, fuel pressure regulator, inline fuel pressure gauge, battery, battery box, starter, relays, fuses, bulbs, sensors, AFM, belts, NGK spark plugs, etc. Have an extra FPR, fuel injectors, and a couple other misc parts.
As I stated before I have invested a lot of time, money, and work into this car. I know what its value is and am not looking to unload it for any lowball offers however I am negotiable and open to trades. I need this car gone a.s.a.p. The car ran when parked. I knew it needed a valve job and head work which is why I started the project. Upon reinstalling the head, it will turn over and fire, but won't start. I have a pretty good idea of the reason why and it is fairly simple, but can't spend any more time on it.
