1978 Chrysler Newport

This is a factory fresh, unrestored, original, PAMPERED 1978 Chrysler Newport. The were VERY FEW 1978 Newport two door hardtops produced and this one has the beautiful and rare Chrysler road wheels which really set off the looks of the car. It has been kept in a climate controlled garage since new and only used in fair weather. The jazmin yellow paint is completely 100% ORIGINAL to the car and looks 3 miles deep. There is no cracking, flaking or any kind of degredation what so ever in the finish, it still retains that special new look that it had 32 years ago. There is no road rash AT ALL to the lower fenders and certainly no rust, thanks to heavily applied Zeibart rustproofing which was applied before delivery in July of 1978. The same goes for the all the chrome, all the brightwork and the top, all are in PERFECT condition. The interior is absolutely FLAWLESS and all original to the car. There is zero fade or wear. All the interior brightwork shimmers, the dash is soft and pliable the carpet shows no wear or soiled areas, in fact, the original factory rubber accessory floor mats cover the floor so feet have literally never come into contact with the carpet. The interior of the car smells just like it did in 1978!!! All the glass is original to the car and perfect. There aren't even any streaks on the windshield from the wipers; they were not used. The engine is a 360 4 barrel and it quietly purrs. It has been over maintained for all these years and it sounds and feels like it. The front end is as tight as new, it tracks straight and true without any wander whatsoever . The brakes work great and bring the car to a stop without even the slightest bit of pull. The air conditioning was converted to R134 but it could use a recharge. The tires are new and the front end was aligned. This car gets an unblieveable amount of attention just cruising down the street. This is a NO EXCUSES car!!!!
