This 1956 California Chevrolet 3200 pickup truck has completed a total frame off restoration. The entire truck and frame were media blasted. The frame was professionally powder coated in black. The truck is finished in matt red, a wood bed floor with black runners, 15” steel wheels, power steering, 5 speed transmission and four-wheel drum brakes. This modified restored 3200 was acquired back in August 2013 with a clean Illinois title. The engine is a Cummins 4bt Turbo, mileage unknown. The truck is equipped with 5 speed GM manual transmission, power-assisted steering.
The fuel tank has been moved out of the cab to the rear frame rails under the bed of the truck. Around 2013, the frame off restoration started and features a long step side bed, a wood bed floor with black runners, panted bumpers, painted grill, painted headlight trim rings and painted side mirrors.
The entire electrical system has been replaced with a new harness system; this includes everything from the main fuse box all the to tail lights.
