This Pickup is a true marvel of metal work with 200 Louvers on the hood and 210 on the rear tailgate as well as shaved door handles. This truck was originally a solid vehicle from California and has the first ever Billet Grill made 1 year prior to Billett releasing the grill to the public. One of the first things that will grab your attention is the stance of this beauty. The Fatman front suspension package moved 1 1/4 inch forward to center the tires and wheels in the wheelwells. The front coil springs were cut 1 1/2 inches to set ride height. The steering box was replaced with a power rack-and-pinion with a shortened column from a '75 Chevrolet van. The Chevy 350 CI engine is fed from a Edelbrock 600-cfm four-barrell carburetor on a Trans-Dapt spacer and Edelbrock Performer manifold. Power is ran through a 4-speed Sagana transmission with a rebuilt Hurst shifter back to a '78 Nova rear end with 3:08 ratio. On the inside you will notice the same attention to detail. The '59 Impala dash and steering wheel evoke the charming nostalgia of the stylish era. White faced Classic Gauges complete the picture and blend nicely with the 2-tone steering wheel and white Chevrolet cue-ball shifter. This truck not only looks the part but certainly acts it too. This classy pickup can be driven easily at highway speeds and feels like a much more modern vehicle.
