1958 Chevrolet Nomad station wagon, fairly solid with the rocker panels and floor pans replaced. There is some filler around the headlights and other places here and there but it is not some bondo buggy. The rear seat is in very good shape for it's age, the front one is about shot and both will need to be reupholstered. Rear cargo area is solid and so is the spare tire carrier compartment beneath.
The car has the original 348 cid engine, with all new tune-up parts and Offenhauser aluminum valve covers, and original Chevy 2-speed Powerglide transmission. Engine runs fine and transmission shifts like it should. The car can be driven but the brakes need adjusting and bleeding so I would NOT recommend that it be driven until this work has been completed.
Currently in gray primer but the original color is White and Cay Coral...one of the most sought-after color combos offered that year.
All the glass is good. All trim is with the car. Comes with period-looking mag wheels but the original Chevy wheels and hubcaps are also included. Perfect winter father/son project with great resto/rat rod potential.
