The Chevrolet Impala was the flagship of the Chevrolet lineup in 1966 and these full size comfortable cars drive more like an expensive luxury car of the time. This vehicle is equipped with a period-correct 283 Cubic Inch V8 that is believed to be original to the car. The 283 has long been considered one of the most reliable engines of the time and quietly and smoothly gets this car up to highway speed without hesitation. One other reliable component of this classic Chevy is the 2-Speed Powerglide transmission that shifts very smooth and silently.
This mist blue metallic beauty is beautiful to look at and a pleasure to drive. Restoration on this classic has kept all interior and exterior components period correct including interior upholstery and carpeting. The high quality build of these cars is remarkable throughout and this car shows extremely well with what is believed to be less than 130,000 miles from new.
