1959 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe

The 1959 Chevrolet Impala has gone down as one of GM's most iconic designs. From the bubble top roof line to the cat's eye tail lights, it is an unmistakable piece of American automotive art from a time when form was more important than function.

Our '59 comes to us from a friend of the Gerton family and has been updated for pleasurable driving in today's motoring environment. This Impala Sport Coupe is powered by Chevrolet's famous 348 with the 3X2 Tri-Power carburation. This powerplant is backed by a modern 5-speed manual transmission while stopping is handled with the benefit of power front disc brakes. the 50's style pleated interior is kept comfortable by a Vintage Air HVAC system while a Custom Autosound radio resides in the dash.

According to the trim tag, this car has always been black over red and the exterior has an older repaint, swept-back radio antenna, wide whitewall radials, and fender skirts.
