This would be the ultimate cruiser for the family guy or a business that would like the coolest tax write off ever! (consult your tax adviser for your availability). I have always loved the look of a tubed car but did not like that there was no back seat. With this 1955 you can have it all, the hot rod looks of a street rod and the drivability of a resto rod with a full back seat.
Exterior…..
A beautiful and deep dark blue metallic, with a crème overlay and a touch of custom pinstripes and painted decals. Low show, upper driver quality paint, a 2 on the paint and body work. This car has a amazing appeal and draws you in, it is a super fun car with a great stance that you just can’t get from a car that’s not tubed. The deep dish Polished billet specialties wheels look fantastic. The fronts are 15X8 and the rear 15X10. With all new Mickey Thompson Radial Tires. The rear end is a
Ford custom fitted 9” with ladder bars installed to give those meaty tires the grip they deserve.. Now to stop this ride there has been 4 wheel disk brakes installed for your safety. The hood has been custom peeked and the body trim shaved to give this 55 an one of a kind look. A complete kill switch and battery terminals are at the rear of the car and can be accessed easily. Even though this street rod screams performance, it is actually built to be driven and not raced, the previous owner stated to me that he had never spun the tires.
Interior….
This is just one of the places that this 1955 separates you from the pack, the interior is complete and custom down to the specialty embroidery and recessed custom panels. The Dash is now all digital and even includes a clock, all digital equipment is by Dakota Digital. Power steering of course, with a tilt wheel. The vintage Auto Air is a fantastic touch to keep you cool when cruising on those hot summer nights. (Also keeps Momma happy) Just in case you would need it there is also a Chrome Fire Extinguisher.
Engine and transmission….
A professionally built 383 stoker engine with all chrome and polished accessories, including a 100 Amp Alternator. The engine fire right up and sounds great. Has many billet engine accessories, including Air Cleaner and Valve Covers, Chrome compressor on the vintage auto air with polished air conditioning condenser and catch can. The Coated headers and polished exhaust add a great touch. All new equipment includes Plugs, Plug Wires, Rotor, Distributor cap, Module, Fan Belts, Battery, complete rebuild of the 3rd member and axle bearings. The 350 Turbo transmission was built to handle the Horses and has 3000 stall.

This is one of those cars that you just have a hard time describing what a great ride it is, the classic look of the infamous 55 Chevy, the looks of a street rod and drivability of a resto rod.
